On an autumn day travel the rolling hills and scenic drives of western Wisconsin with a local guide. See a demonstration on how sheep are herded by border collies, hear stories and facts about the local area and in Arcadia walk through a large Veteran's Memorial. In Independence, at a 1895 Catholic church, enjoy a homemade meal(inc.)and tour. Stop at an Amish home and more.

Autumn Scarecrow Festival

A day in the country. Travel to Emma Krumbee's in Belle Plaine to to see over 100 unique, handcrafted scarecrows displayed in the apple orchard for the annual contest. Pumpkins, fall decorations, mums, gourds and gifts are plentiful as well. A delicious lunch is included at Emma Krumbee's . Enjoy chocolate? A stop at Abdullah's will be made enroute.

"Radio Gals" - Musical Comedy

The Ives Theater, part of the Masonic Home in Bloomington offers another entertaining show. Set in the 1920's, Hazel broadcasts her station, WGAL, from her front parlor with her "all-girl" orchestra.
